The Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council will be hosting a 3T garage sale during the May long weekend. This will be a fundraiser for the TSCRC but also an opportunity for members for the community to book space and clear out some of their own items.
The 3T sale will take place on the grounds of the Burntwood Baptist Church.
St. Lawrence Church will hold a Garage Sale at St. Lawrence Hall on Friday, May 26th from 1 - 7 pm and again on Saturday, May 27th from 8 am - 2 pm.
There will be furniture, household items, craft supplies, toys, books and more.
There will also be a bake sale.
Drop by and find some new treasures for your home.
The 47th Northern Juried Art Show is being hosted from June 19-24, in Thompson.
Categories include: Painting, watercolor, drawing and printmaking, crafts, fibre art, photography, sculpture and youth.
How to enter:
* Registration forms are available at mallofthearts.com
* Complete a registration form for each piece of art.
* Send registration form and entry fees by June 2nd. You can email them to: northernjuriedartshow@gmail.com
* Deliver art to your depot by June 5th. Art must be in Thompson by June 12th.
* All art must be original to the artist.
There will be an Artist Reception, Awards Ceremony and Art Show on June 22nd.

The Lutheran-United Church will hold a Giant Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 27th from 9 am to 1 pm at 52 Caribou Road.
A food concession will be available.
Donations will be accepted Wednesday and Thursday, May 24th and 25th from 4 to 6 pm at the back door.
If there is still room they may accept donations on Friday, but please call first to check.
They especially encourage seasonal items in clean / good repair.
Do not leave items outside the church. No drop-offs on sale day please.

The Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council is holding a series of pickleball games throughout the summer that is open to all ages. If you have any suggestions or questions, call the TSCRC at 204-677-0987. The schedules are as follows.
Fridays from 3:00pm- 5pm: May 5th and 12th, June 16th and 30th, July 7th, 21st, and 28th, and August 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th
Wednesdays from 7:00pm- 9:00pm: June 7th and 14th, July 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th and August 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.
Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council is holding a garage sale at the Burntwood Baptist Church on Friday, May 19th from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 20th from 9am to Noon.
The council will gladly accept donations, as this is a fund raiser. You can also rent a table to sell your own items or load your extra items into the trunk of your car and join their "junk in the trunk" section.
Items can be dropped off at the Burntwood Baptist Church from 2pm to 3pm on the following days:
-Monday, May 15th, Tuesday, May 16th, Thursday, May 18th and Friday, May 19th.
