Maniotba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc. is putting on an Orange Shirt Day event this Saturday, September 30th. Door prizes consisting of books by Indigenous Authors will be available.
Starting at 11am, there will be a Survivors Honour Walk from Macleans Park to the TRCC Gymnasium. The walk will start after a prayer and opening remarks.
A free lunch will take place at the TRCC Gymnasiym starting at 12:30pm. The lunch is open to all and there will be surprise entertainment.
Family friendly activities start at 1:30pm. Craft and discussion tables will be open for people of all ages!
At 4pm, a Survivors tea & bannock lounge will start at the TRCC Multi-Purpose Room. Health supports will be available for those who need them.
