The Thompson MMF Youth Department will be hosting an Earth Day Trash Pickup Draw on from Friday, April 19th to Monday, April 22nd for all Red River Metis Youth ages 29 and under.
On Friday, April 19th, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, you can pick up garbage bags while supplies lasts from the MMF Thompson Regional Office. Litter collected throughout the weekend can be dropped off at the MMF Office on Monday, April 22nd. 1 bag will earn you 1 draw entry for the chance to win a $100.00 gift card.
The draw will take place at the end of Monday's buisness hours and the winner will be contacted on Tuesday, April 23rd.

MKO Jordan's Principle and Post-Majority Support Services will be hosting a Cycle Breakers Initiative Youth Entertainment Gathering in Thompson this Friday.
It is open to all RDPC Students and will run from noon to 4pm at the TRCC gym and will feature musician Codi "Okema" Montour and comedian Brett Mooseawa. They will speak about their personal journey overcoming adversities and will focus on breaking cycles and intergenerational trauma.
Another gathering will take place from 5 to 10pm at St. Lawrence Hall which is open to all youth in the community.
There will be many door prizes available at each event.
MKO will be hosting a Cycle Breakers Initiative presentation and concert at the St. Lawrence Hall on April 19th from 5pm to 10pm. The concert will feature musician Codi "Okema" Montour and comedian Brett Mooseawa and is open to all youth. Door prizes are availabe to be won.
