The 4th Annual Rylen Solski Memorial Fishing Derby will be taking place from June 14th to June 23rd this year! The Derby will be raising money to help support research into Kawasaki Disease.
It's only 20 dollars to enter and since the derby is managed online, you can finish from anywhere in Manitoba! Just download the Fish Donkey app to register.
You can win cash of a wide range of other prizes this year including a 2-night stay at Baker Narrows Lodge, Winnipeg Blue Bomber tickets, camping and fishing gear, kayaks, paddleboards, gift cards and more.

Thompson Seniors will be operating a Child Find booth during Nickel Days. If you lose a child or they lose you on the fairgrounds, the best place for you to reunite will be at the Child Find booth inside the TRCC. Just look for the signage.

Nickel Days returns another year from Thursday, June 20th to Sunday, June 23rd. The Nickel Days Parade will be on Saturday, June 22nd starting at 10am. This year's parade theme is Connecting the North, celebrating our heritage!
There will be a change in the parade route this year. The parade will start at the corner of Princeton & Station Road, heading south and turning on Thompson Drive. Heading west past the hospital, continuing on Thompson Drive and ending at the entrance to UCN/TRCC.
