The Thompson Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge is on now! From July 1st to August 31st, anyone with a library card can pick up a Summer Reading Challenge log from the Thompson Public Library for the chance to win some prizes. All ages are welcomed and encouraged to join.
Only books from the Library or Libby counts towards the challenge. Once logs are complete on both the front and the back, they can be dropped off with a name and age of the child clearly printed at the Library. Please do not email or facebook message logs.
Each child will get a paper flower pot to put on the window and a paper flower that represents the 20 books read. Each log equals one flower.
Three winners will be announced when the reading challenge is over.
The Thompson Public Library will be holding a Chalk Art Party on July 13th from 12- 4pm. Come and decorate the sidewalk leading up to the library! All ages are welcome to attend. The event is weather permitting and only appropriate art is allowed.
