Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is reinventing the landscape of fundraising in Winnipeg for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research with the introduction of our new Cocktails for a Cure. The event will take place at the elegant Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 7:30 pm.Cocktails for a Cure is JDRF’s bold reimagining of our traditional Starry Starry Night Gala. Focused on bringing together the type 1 diabetes community, our dedicated supporters, friends, and corporate sponsors. This exciting cocktail party invites guests to connect with others in the community to help JDRF turn type one into type none. Cocktails for a Cure is an exceptional opportunity to align your brand with JDRF and showcase your support to a diverse audience of philanthropists, senior-level executives and the T1D community. In Canada, we have a large and loyal base of constituents across the country with vast networks of their own. Our guests are loyal and committed JDRF supporters, and national survey results show that 86% of respondents would consider changing a purchase based on an organization’s support of JDRF. The Northern Health Region will be holding a series Seasonal Flu and Covid-19 immunization clinics between October 23rd and November 2nd. The clinics will be walk-in with no appointments necessary. Be sure to wear a short sleeved shirt and bring your provincial health card. Do not present if you are ill.
