The Community Oncology team at the CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) is hosting its annual Patient and Family Conference (PFC) on Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th.
It's a free, live, online event for patients, family members, caregivers and anyone from the community that is affected by cancer. It is an opportunity to hear from experts, other patients and to learn more about cancer, treatment, nutrition, emotional impact of cancer, exercise and much more.

Operation Red Nose is looking for volunteers!
Operation Red Nose is an organization that offers rides home in your own vehicle during the holiday season. It's free of charge but donations are encouraged that will go to youth programs around Thompson.
The nights of service will be Fridays, November 29th, December 6th, December 13th, and December 20th and Saturdays, November 30th, December 7th, December 14th and December 21st. Each night runs from 9pm to 2am. You can volunteer for one night, multiple nights or all nights of service. All volunteers will have a criminal record check done.
Roles needed:
Office people to take calls and dispatch to road teams.
Road teams are made up of three roles:
The escort driver who drives the team around in their own car. There is a small amount of compensation for gas coverage for this role.
Designated driver who drives the clients cars home
Navigator who goes with the designated driver in the client vehicle and fills out their info.
