50/50 Cash Raffle Fundraiser

Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council is holding a 50/50 cash raffle fundraiser! Tickets are available from now until the draw date of January 6th at 10am. Participants must be 18+ to purchase tickets and tickets can be purchased at www.rafflebox/raffle/tscrc.

 

Ticket prices are as follows:

Series A- 1 for $10
Series B- 3 for $20
Series C- 10 for $50
Series D- 25 for $100

 

The Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council will contact the winner to claim their prize. Every ticket holder has the right to witness the draw

There will be a free ugly Christmas sweater skate taking place at the C.A Nesbitt Arena taking place on Saturday, December 21st from 3:30pm to 6:30.

Winter Wonderland 2024

From 6:00PM to 8:00PM

The Thompson Music Parents is holding the 2024 Winter Wonderland at McCreedy Park from 6pm to 8pm on the following dates: Thursday, December 19th to Sunday, December 22nd, Wednesday, December 24th, Thursday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 31st.

 

Tickets can be purchased in advance or by exact change at the gate and are $10 per vehicle.

Operation Red Nose

From 9:00PM to 2:00AM

Operation Red Nose is looking for volunteers!

 

Operation Red Nose is an organization that offers rides home in your own vehicle during the holiday season. It's free of charge but donations are encouraged that will go to youth programs around Thompson.

The nights of service will be Fridays, November 29th, December 6th, December 13th, and December 20th and Saturdays, November 30th, December 7th, December 14th and December 21st. Each night runs from 9pm to 2am.  You can volunteer for one night, multiple nights or all nights of service. All volunteers will have a criminal record check done.

 

Roles needed:

Office people to take calls and dispatch to road teams.

 

Road teams are made up of three roles:
The escort driver who drives the team around in their own car. There is a small amount of compensation for gas coverage for this role.

Designated driver who drives the clients cars home

 

Navigator who goes with the designated driver in the client vehicle and fills out their info.
