The Keewatin Tribal Council 3rd Annual Ice Fishing derby takes place on March 23th from 12pm to 4pm at the Paint Lake Marina's Main Boat Launch area.

Registration runs that day from 9am to noon. Advance tickets are $150 while on-ice registration is $200. To book advance tickets, go to Keewatin Tribal Council on 23 Nickel Road, Crazy Pete's Trading Post or Paint Lake Marina as well as the Mistasineek Gas Station in Cross Lake, and Apetagon's Gas Bar in Norway House.

There will be over 50 thousand dollars in cash and prices available with first place prize being 25 thousand dollars and there will be a 50/50 raffle sold on the ice for $20 per ticket.
