PURSUE A CAREER IN HEALTH CARE

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is looking for students from SCO member Nations who are pursuing post-secondary education that leads to a career in health care.

If you can use funding to help you pursue your post-secondary education, consider applying for our Health Care Career Awards. You can receive up to $3000 in financial support!

The City of Thompson is getting started on recruiting and training lifeguards to staff the Thompson Regional Aquatic Centre when it is completed in 2026.

Aspiring lifeguards aged 14 and over, former lifeguards who need to be recertified and people learning to learn more about becoming a lifeguard are invited to attend an open houe meeting that will be held at the TRCC multipurpose room on Monday, May 12th from 6pm to 7:30pm.
